What the check tells you
Who earned it
The holder's name and the course they completed, so you can confirm the certificate belongs to the person presenting it.
When, and whether it still stands
The date it was awarded, and its validity, so an expired certificate is not mistaken for a current one.
Verifying a certificate does not require an account and does not expose anything about the holder beyond what is printed on the certificate itself.
